And people often don’t even know, but that doesn’t stop them from talking. But when it comes to Travis Kelce, the good thing is that he has an avenue to stop the rumors in his New Heights podcast. And if we know something about Kelce, it is that he’s anything but shy.
Let’s consider how Kelce’s entire relationship with Swift began: he tried to give Swift his number via a friendship bracelet at herEras Tourshow in Kansas City. Swift found out and thought that it was “metal as hell.” The rest, as they say, is history. The couple has been together for a couple of years. There has even been wedding speculation. But of course, every other week, there are also rumors that the two are breaking up.

Kelce clarified the latest rumors about himself, saying on the latest episode of his New Heights podcast “I gotta make a little statement in the ‘don’t believe everything you read, kids’ category or nice realm that you see online,” and adding that, “Some false claims were thrown out there that I was doing something in the community that I was not, and I’m not even gonna talk about it specifically. I don’t want to bring any more attention to that whole nonsense and article and all that stuff.”

The claim likely had to do with rumors that Kelce had purchased a $3.3 million house in Kansas City that would serve as temporary housing for homeless youth. The Chiefs TE went on to add that if people “ever want to know exactly what I’m doing in the community, just go to87running.org,” referencing his foundation. “We’re always trying to get out there in and get in the Kansas City communities and the Cleveland community,” he explained. “But this time, I wasn’t doing what was falsely claimed by the social channels or the outlets posting all this A.I. stuff. So, just wanted to set the record straight.”
Fans might be confused as to why Kelce felt the need to clarify something that painted him in a good light, but the TE has his own foundation, 87 & Running, which he started in 2015, to “empower disadvantaged youth to achieve success by providing resources and support to their communities and cultivating their talent in the areas of education, business, athletics, stem, and the arts,” according to the organization’swebsite. So the athlete would like his real efforts to be recognized and for his name not to be tied to something that isn’t real or that he has no involvement with.
And as far as his relationship with Swift, Kelce had no update on that, which is probably good news. The two had reportedly been taking some time to reconnect since the hectic months of the NFL season and the Eras Tour and had been keeping a low profile together.
“A lot of their time is spent at home just relaxing. Despite their fame, they’re really just like any other couple,” an insider recently toldPage Six. “They like to cuddle on the couch and watch movies, play board games, spend time with family, cook dinner together and just hang out,” the source added.

Kelce will soon have to go back to training for the upcoming NFL season, but for now, he and Swift seem to be doing just fine.
