The Democratic primary race for Baltimore mayor was largely a rematch of the city's 2020 Democratic primary mayoral race. This year, the lead fluctuated through the night between incumbent Mayor Brandon Scott and former Mayor Sheila Dixon until Scott started to pull away late in the evening, finishing ahead by about 10 points.
In the general election, Scott defeated Republican Shannon Wright, who ran for mayor in past elections.
Scott released a statement Tuesday night, saying:

Baltimore City voters also decided eight ballot questions, two of which were closely watched.
